How we value Time is underlying of our current ecological crisis. Time is valued as money and therefore we want things realized quickly. We buy look-a-like worn jeans and do it by the masses.
Take some Time to take that in.
Ripped, bleached jeans. We don’t take the Time to appreciate the personal process of the jean being worn in and worn out. The Time it takes to develop a personality becoming a part of your being.
If we perceive Time in a different perspective, we give nature and ourselves the Time for natural processes to occur.
These objects are a format for this new Time. When you feel a day is finished, you pick a seed and release it into nature. You let go. You value your process instead of the Time.
A contrast of an old stone and young seeds form this new type of calendar.
This project was formed during the Deposium (design symposium) in Banská Štiavnica, Slovakia.
